Illinois

 I will tell you about Illinois. It is located in the Midwestern United States. It is separated into 6 regions, Central Illinois, Chicago land, Northern Illinois, Saint Louis Metro East, Southern Illinois and Western Illinois. The most popular and populous region is Chicago in Illinois. There is a diverse economic base and transportation hub in Illinois. Illinois have various natural resources, so it is said that Illinois is an American miniature copy.

  Illinois is famous for hot dogs and deep-dish pizza. Some tourists eat those foods when they visit there. Of course, local people also eat those. Illinois is known for its Horseshoe Sandwich, an open-faced sandwich of toast, hamburger, french fries, and cheese sauce, with regional variations. I think those foods represent the American foods. Those are known as fast food, or junk foods. People can eat those easily and fast; those are also said traditional foods in America.

  There are a lot of sightseeing spots in Illinois, for example, Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum, Chicago Botanic Garden and so on. Tourists from around the world visit there and can enjoy attractions and know about the history in Illinois and relax in nature. People can learn about Lincoln, who is from Illinois in Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum. And People can relax and children can enjoy watching nature there with their friends or family. Children will bring up with nice sensitive.

  The largest city in Illinois is Chicago. Chicago is said that it is also the 7th biggest city in the world. Many people assemble in the city, so the city become prosperous. But also a lot of crimes happen in Illinois. The city is not safe. When you visit there, you should be careful about crimes. Although you might be worried about it, if you are careful, you can enjoy your trip. Illinois also have some sports team, for example, baseball and football and ice hokey and basketball and soccer. Tourists can enjoy watching the sports game in Chicago!

If you go to America, you should visit Illinois!

This Weekend

  I spend this weekend working and studying. I'm going to have some examination in this week, so I must study for that. I was tired to work a lot, and after job, I studied... but I slept! I could not study a lot on Saturday. I regreted to have slept. I wanted to study because I would have part time job next day... I thought that I would not be able to study all in the day. I should have studied systematically. It is hard for me to study, but I will study hard on Monday and Tuesday for the test...

ICE AGE

  Today I read "ICE AGE".

'A mammoth, a tiger and a sloth!' Sid says. 'We're funny friends, but we're happy!'(P.25)

I had known the title of the book before I read it. I have not known the detail. I could know it for the first time. In the story, animals there are not friends, and tiger would eat other animals and a baby. A mammoth also didn't want friends before they had a journey. But their ideas changed after they started to travel to find a baby's dad. Then, they helped each other. Therefore They could be good friends each other. I think it is so good for them and they should have a nice term with them.

My Weekends

 This weekends, I spend times to work a lot. I worked 19 hours in 2 days. I actually would work 8 hours, but a coworker had a cold. Instead of her, I worked 10 hours. Next day,  I had 9 hours on job. So I was too hard to study for examination after working. I would study there, but I couldn't do it. I must study...

 also there was a marriage for coworker. Although I could not go there, I was sure it was so good. I could see the picture. They in the picture was so cool and cute. I thought I would like to marry...

This Weekend

  I worked hard in this weekend again... But I was glad because yesterday, July 12th, is my 20th birthday! I spend my birthday to work at my part time job. I was celebrated by coworkers. A friend made a cake for me. It was so delicious. And that, I went to downtown and have a diner with my family. I drank for the first time. I like it! I also got a present from my fathers' coworker. She and I are  good term. finally, we went to Mac'dnald where I work, and bought a cup of coffee. I was so glad to spend the day with a lot of people, and many friends celebrated me! A lot of people sent Line message to me. My birthday in this year was so great for me!!!!!

Do I Tell?

  Today I read "Do I Tell?".
"But I didn't do those things."..."But you were with these other boys. And you didn't stop them. You didn't call the police."..."Wait. Please listen,"..."Not now,"...(P.24)

In this story, Ji-Sung had bad fiends, Mike and Scott. Mike and Scott got some trouble and did some bad things, for example painting the picture at the bus station and seat in the bus, not letting the old woman sit the seat, and kicking a garbage can. Ji-Sung didn't want to be with Mike and Scott, but Ji-Sung didn't say NO, and stop Mike and Scott, and call the police. Li-Sung was scared of Mike and Scott. However a little girl could call policer, and stop Mike and Scott. She was braver than Ji-Sung. Reading the book, I thought it was bad thing to watch only as doing bad thing. Ji-Sung should have done behavior.
