Rhode Island

  Do you know about Rhode Island? Today, I will tell you about Rhode Island in the US. Rhode Island is beautiful state.  
  Rhode Island is located at Northeastern US. It is bordered by Connecticut to the west and Massachusetts to the north. The size of Rhode Island is  3,140 km² and it is the smallest in this area. The population 1,055,173 and that is the second most densely populated of 50 US state. That is so small prefecture. The famous food in Rhode Island is a lot. For example, calamari, it is crispy fried squid. And Del's Lemonade,  it is a Rhode Island summer staple. Next, There are colleges and universities in Rhode Island,  Brown University. Bryyant University. Johnson ＆ Wales University, which it is said Top3. Rhode Island in film and literature is  Moonrise Kingdom. The Witches of Eastwick and so on. It is so great. Rose cliff. Kingscote. General Nathanael Greene Hmstd is famous spot in Rhode Island. It is so beautiful. 
  Finaly, there are a lot of nice things in Rhode Island. So I like there. I want to go there someday!

Thumper's Sore Paw

  Today I read "Thumper's Sore Paw".
"I will take you to the vet," said Igor. "He will look at your sore paw. Get in the car, Thumper."(P.P.4-5)


It is easy for me to read it. In this story, Igor was so worried about his dog, Thumper. He hit his paw. He must have gone to the vet. Igor took him to there. The vet could fix his paw. They was glad. I can see that they love each other. I want them to get along with forever... If it can be that, I would be glad.

My Weekend

  This Weekend, I could enjoy.On Saturday, I got up and chatted at Eikaiwa SapuriI , and worked 8 hours as my part time job. It was so hard day for me, and made me tied. On Sunday, I woke up at 5 o'clock, and worked. Then I joined Welcome Party in Soujyou University. I could talk with some foreign people and make friends. It was so fun. Next, I met my friends in high school in long time no see, and we have lunch together. I enjoyed it !

Today I read "When I Looked Out of My Window". It is easy for me to read it.

In this book, a girl looks out of her window, and she imitates everything things which she looked. She imitates even thing cat. She may admire the world out of window. It may be beautiful for her that there is the world which she looked.  Exactly, if I were, I would do such a thing. But I think it is not but thing. To imitate another people is good things!

The Three Little Pigs

  Today, I read "The Three Little Pigs".
The third little pig built a cozy house of bricks. He invited the two other pigs to live with him. (p. 10)


   There are some words which I did't know, but I can read it to use my dictionary, because I know the story. I have read in Japanese when I was a child. The 1st pig and 2nd pig built easy houses, however 3rd pig worked so hard to built strong house of bricks. I think he was clever and kind. He welcomes to 2 pigs in his strong house. 2 pigs can be alive, thanks to 3rd pig. I'm sure 3 pigs live comfortably...

My Weekend

  This Weekend, I worked so long time, too. I usually spend time to work as a part time job in weekend. But I can finish my work earlier on Sunday. Then I went downtown with my friend. I had a dinner with her. I recently could not meet her, and I was sad. So I was grad to talk a lot with her. Though I could not spend a lot time with her because I must have gone home early, I could spend great time!

The book is like a diary which Joe write. But it is a letter to Nan. The readers don't know who Nan is. I think Nan is his mother or ground mother. Though Joe don't have his left hand, He always triesto hard something. He had some trouble in his life. I think that he describes to her who he loves what he made effort. What's a moving story!

The Big Bag Mistake

When I read it, I thought it would be more difficult than the books which I've read before for me to read it. But it is not Difficult. There are Gisela and Ricard as characters. When they go home by airplane and leave airport, Gisela takes Ricard's bag!...Gisela did cold behavior, however Ricard was kind to her. He waited for her... He is good man, isn't he?...

This Golden Week

  In this Golden Week, it was so hard for me.I was busy, because I worked a lot. I worked about 8 hours per day for 5 days. I must have had a lot of homework, but I could not do all... I also want to go somewhere. For example Fukuoka, Kagoshima, and Yamaguchi. I actually am going to go there, but I can't. I had part time job all day. Next year, I want to enjoy !

Camping Adventure

  Today, I read " Camping Adventure".
Mam and Dad had a new tent. They put it up. Wilf helped. (P.2)


The book is Stage 5. A family went to camping, and then they had accident, -there was a storm. So they had to go to the farmhouse. And they helped Mrs Jones having a baby. It would be rare opportunity for them. I have ever done that before. It was so great! Also, I thought I  want to go to camping. When I went there last time, I was an elementary school student. So I want to go there with my family or friends.

Vanishing Cream

  Today, I read "Vanishing Cream".
 "Come in!" said the Wizard. "You can wash up, then you can tidy up.〜"Don't be lazy," said the Wizard, "or I'll turn you into frogs." (P.P.10-11)


The book is Stage 5. I can read easily. Reading the book, I thought Wizard was messy and NOT good. So I didn't like him when I read the first part in this book. But I became to like him after Biff and Chip catch a thief, thanks to Vanishing Cream. Wizard became kind to them. It is good! I want vanishing Cream, too.

Kipper's Diary

Today, I read "Kipper's Diary".

 The story is so easy to understand. The book is level 1. First,  Monday is not good day. But
pasting the date and the other date, it become the day better. I think that the book is written in easy English, however the book have deep meaning inside. And according to the illustration, Kipper is imaginative boy .

A New Classroom

   Today, I read "A New Classroom".
Everyone gasped. The classroom was upside down. (P.20)


The book is a series of Oxford Reading Tree. It is Stage 5. It was easy for me to read it. But its story is Not real. The new classroom is built in this book. The way to build it is unbelievable. I thought the building can be upside down! I was so gasped, too. However I also think that it is interesting to be upsede down building!

The Magic Key

 Today, I read "The Magic Key".

 The story is stage 5. I have read the series before. It was easy for me to read it. In this page,when a mouse would attack Bii and Chip,  Chip would defend Biff from the mouse pickingup a pin. He is so brave and cool! I respect him. In fact, Chip was afraid of it , too. If I were him, I could not be willing. I respet him!

HENRY AND MUDGE The First Book

Today, I read "HENRY AND MUDGE The First Book" 
(PP.36-37)  

It is the first book in this series. This story was so impressive for me. It is an original story. It set in New York. Henry and Mudge is good friends. Henry loves Mudge, and Mudge loves Henry, too. Henry always stays with Mudge. But one day, Mudge left and lost. They was sad and worried each other. In the end, Henry met Mudge, and they ate breakfast and supper at the same time again! It was great for them. I thought they would be good friends forever...
The pages especially express friendship between Henry and Mudge. I like the pages the best.
